Sasha Grey most definitely reigns as the true starlet of "Hot Hollywood." Of course, many of you sugary Glam Girls know Sasha as Vincent Chase's saucy girlfriend on Entourage. Though Ms. Grey may portray the ultimate bad girl behind the camera, when the lens closes, she's your super-sweet girl next door. Sasha comes across with a demure demeanor, shining contrary to images we've seen in the past. Don't believe me? Well, when we asked about her Halloween plans...remiss to say we we were absolutely caught off-guard. The fabulous Bay Area native will spend her Halloween where any glitter-star should be, at the football stadium. A die-hard ...
The Oakland Raiders are riding high after the complete destruction of their hated rival, the Denver Broncos, last Sunday. This week, the Seattle Seahawks come to Oakland County Coliseum to take on Darren McFadden and the resurgent Raiders. The Seahawks are a greatly improved team that is well on its way to becoming relevant again. The Raiders are also on the rise and will be looking for their first back to back wins since the last two games of the 2008 season.Seattle is not a team to be taken lightly. They run the ball very well, they are ranked second against the ...
It is almost Halloween, and the Raiders have the perfect costume.  This year’s team will be going as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (a novel written by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson and based on a character with Split Personalities).  This is the ideal costume for a team that can anger and mystify one week and totally amaze and dominate the next.  The Raiders (3-4) look to continue their momentum this Sunday after they scored a franchise record 59 points in a 59-14 drubbing of their AFC rival Denver Broncos.  They play host to the (4-2) Seattle Seahawks, this ...
People around Raider Nation are still screaming for Bruce Gradkowski even after the Oakland Raiders put a 59-14 whipping on the Denver Broncos. Jason Campbell posted a season high rating of 127 but that doesn't seem to be good enough. I believe Campbell should be given another opportunity based on his performance against the Broncos. However, I would scream either way because neither guy is good enough to say "he will take us." Neither one of them are the most important man on the Raider offense. Darren McFadden is hands down the most valuable offensive player on the team. It's ...
Whether the name "LeBron James" elicits smiles or frowns in your home, one thing is clear:LeBron James burns bridges like William Tecumseh Sherman. His decision to head to Miami and join Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade put a huge target on the Miami Heat. His new Nike commercial shows what he has to deal with on a daily basis and makes it seem like this is a level of hate was unseen before now.Does that mean the Heat are sports' most hated team ever?Since sports began, there have been villainous teams. Whether it was due to style of play, off the playing ...
The Oakland Raiders are coming off a 59-14 dismantling of their division rival Denver Broncos. Easily one of the most lopsided contests in either team's history. But after total domination of the Donkeys, though Raider fans are pleased about the win, many are disappointed about the lack of credit, coverage and a total lack of respect this team is still facing. Hell even one of the game commentators went as far as to point out that the Denver defense had "successfully" shut out DHB, while the Raiders were up five scores. Despite all the great plays, highlights and excitement by the Raiders, teams like the Bills and ...
It was an amazing day for running back Darren McFadden as he robbed the Denver Broncos of four touchdowns and 165 yards in Sunday's 59-14 win in Denver. McFadden and teammate Michael Bush were able to find the holes and burn up some yards. It should be noted that rookie OT Jared Veldheer was a key factor in making blocks up front for McFadden. Veldheer is an absolute Samson. His play against the Denver defense is a tribute to that strength. The question remains, is McFadden the running back Al Davis and Tom Cable believe him to be? Last season ...
Pep Talk and Invitation It's time to show more support for the Oakland Raiders. After a stellar performance with a total of 59 points earned in the game against the Denver Broncos, one way to celebrate the victory is to show up at the game on Oct. 31. A tangible expression of our awareness and appreciation for a job well done would be to fill the house or stadium with fans. Every daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt or other must invite someone to the game. Women, we have a voice and showing up to the game on Sunday would be a way to show the United ...
It’s Wednesday, and the buzz amid Oakland's 59—14 trouncing of the Denver Broncos is still hanging heavily in the air. The Raiders return to practice today with a much brighter disposition. A 45—point victory will put a bounce in any team's step. But there are still issues that need to be resolved if the Raiders plan on winning two in a row—a feat unaccomplished since 2008.   Jason Campbell or Bruce Gradkowski? Jason Campbell went from worst to first in a two—week time period, posting a 127.9 QB rating after an abysmal 10.7 rating. Tom Cable has made it clear ...
On Wednesday, the San Francisco Giants will be taking the field against the Texas Rangers in the 106th edition of baseball's World Series. The players will be trotting out to their respective positions, digging into the batter's box and toeing the pitcher's mound with only one thing on their minds: winning. Yet 33 years ago, the starting center-fielder for the National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers had a lot on his mind. Granted, it was Game 1 of the 1977 World Series. He was technically still a rookie, and was being touted as the Dodgers' version of Willie Mays. He was facing ...
